Inga The Wolf

Why, I thought, it would be a great idea to share my nine-month experience with my fluffy baby. As you know, I adopted Inga when she was two months old. She was rescued by our local animal shelter. Our animal shelter, Sammies Friends is a no kill shelter. They rescued Inga from a Puppy Mill, where they were hoarding over 100 Malamutes! The atmosphere, as you can imagine, was disgusting, fowl, and terrible. It’s horrible thinking that my Inga was in that world of abuse and scum. But never mind that, Inga is now comfortably living in a loving household where I get to pour out all my love on her. She has changed my world for the best. She has taught me to be more productive, responsible, and attentive. She was a lot of work, and still a lot of work, but it is all worth it.

Inga is an Alaskan Malamute mix. To be honest, I’m not convinced that she is a true breed Malamute. I really want her to take a DNA test to truly see what she is. I am so curious. Typically, Malamutes get up to 90-130 pounds, Inga is a solid 32 pounds! So, you would be guessing the accuracy of her breed as well. Before I adopted Inga, I did my research and found out that Malamute’s are known for their stubbornness. Boy they were not lying. Inga is the most stubborn dog I’ve met. She is very contemplative and decides on her own terms. Its been a journey but with time and a little dedication she will be in shipshape, from day one she has improved immensely.

If you’re debating whether to adopt a dog and what breed to adopt I want to share some perks about my Inga. The first thing I will mention about my Inga is her fur. Inga has the most amazing, fluffy fur I’ve seen. I don’t know about you, but I love snuggling with a dog who has good mane. Not to mention Malamutes are hyper allergenic, so if you’re allergic to dogs Malamutes are the one’s to get. My sister is practically allergic to everything, with Inga she is completely fine. Another amazing perk about Inga’s personality is that she has like five different personalities. She can be bratty sometimes, but then she be super sweet, then she can be very curious, you can see the intensity in her eyes, then she can be super goofy. I love this about Inga!

I hope you might have learned a little about my Inga Binga and Malamutes. They’re the best and the cutest!
Xoxo,
